McAlpine House originally belonged to a Master Pearler named Captain Herbert Kennedy in the early 1900s. The eight rooms at McAlpine House are decorated in their own style and we love the fact that each has their own outdoor escape: a dedicated lounge or a courtyard garden area. All rooms have a sense of an Australian personality and are equipped with air conditioning, cable TV, ceiling fan, refrigerator, internet access and a safe. A butler service is also available upon request.

The lush tropical gardens outside, and mini gallery of original local art inside has left us enchanted by McAlpine house. We love how this quirky boutique isn’t just somewhere to sleep, but a temporary home for all those visiting Broome.
