Tomato seeds of an idea
Black Tomato was dreamed up by three guys who left the corporate world to spend their days working on what they loved – travel. Tom Marchant, James Merrett and Matt Smith spent many years travelling in previous jobs, living in Moscow, Johannesburg and everywhere in between. Out of these experiences and extensive leisure travel, the idea for Black Tomato was born.
Tom, Matt and James realized there are plenty of people who love to travel but because of demanding home and work lives don’t have the time to squeeze in extensive research and detailed planning that goes into creating unique trips away. That’s where we come in. The aim of Black Tomato is to provide innovative travel experiences expertly crafted to enable you to get away from it all without the hassle of having to plan everything.
