On the south eastern side of Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam, lies Bai Sao Beach. Away from the tourist hotspots, you’ll need the help of local (or us) to find this gem. An isolated strip of soft white powdery sand and calm azure waters, Bai Sao Beach is the epitome of beach paradise. The waters are so shallow that you can walk out to sea for ages without having to break a sweat to stay afloat. And forget about having to fight for a space on the beach, with no resorts and only a tiny Vietnamese restaurant, there are only ever a handful of people at one time soaking up the rays.
