Our Mongolian experience lasts for eight days. You begin your trip travelling by jeep though the Gobi desert, watching as the green hills turn to scorched rock and barren landscapes of gravel plains.

The desert is a living mix of strange inhabitants, home to wild asses, rare Saiga antelopes, wild horses, ibex, snow leopard, wolves, two-humped camels and the world’s only desert bear - the Gobi bear.
monasteries and lost cities
After exploring this stunning region, you will head northwest to Karakorum, the ancient capital of Mongolia once home to Marco Polo and known as the ruined city. Here you will find the Erdene Zuu monastery containing three temples. Set eyes of some one of the most amazing archeological discoveries - the ruins of a vast city lost in history where only three stone tortoise statues mark its existence in time.
