Built in the 1840’s this wooden hotel is brimming with unpolished, original features and traditional Guyana character. All rooms have Demerara shutters and dark wooden floors and are kitted out with locally crafted wicker and kufa furniture. Single, double or triple rooms are available and whilst they preserve the Guyana culture, they do have modern touches: air conditioning, high speed internet access and dvd players.
Veranda rooms and executive suites overlook the lush gardens, which are a great place to relax in, providing shade from the tropical sun, and are bursting with fresh fruits for your breakfast. The in-house Bottle Restaurant makes good use of this local produce and is renowned as the best place to grab a bite to eat in the capital.
Includes: Bed and Breakfast.
