BMW, Promoting the 1 Series Coupe with some Serious Travel

Where did BMW go when they wanted prizes for their behind the wheel promotion? Black Tomato of course. They wanted to know what drives their customers - literally; what gets them behind the wheel and inspires them to get out on the road. Their customers had the chance to submit their entries onto behindthewheel.com, a BMW micro-site that showcases this collective inspiration.

Where did we come in? Black Tomato came up with a list of inspirational prize weekends for the coupe launch. They had to encapsulate everything the series 1 coupe stood for: freedom, style and innovation. Our list of possibilities included a glamorous package to London Fashion Week, a treasure hunt in the Scottish highlands and a tour of Michelin-starred restaurants in Berkshire, all in a brand new coupe of course.
