Days 1 - 3:
Arrive in Hanoi and transfer to your hotel. Explore Vietnam's gorgeous European colonial capital: shop in the bustling old quarter, stroll the tree-lined boulevards and take in the stunning architecture. Extend your time here by adding on a boat trip in Halong Bay or mountain trekking up North.
Days 4 - 8:
Head south down the spine of the country, stopping off along the way. Fly first to the old world coastal town of Hoi An, where you can explore the old cobbled streets and indulge in some of the best food in the country. Continuing south, flying to Nha Trang - Vietnam's beach capital - for some solid sun time interspersed with scuba diving, spa treatments and jungle exploration. At this point you can add Dalat and/or Phan Tiet to your trip or simply carry straight south to Ho Chi Minh.
Days 9 -10:
Live it up in Ho Chi Minh among the sleek restaurants and swanky nightclubs which jostle for space with ancient temples and towering skyscrapers. Fly back home from here.
