Inspiring Time Experience
Climbing Clubbing Sometimes all you want to do is go clubbing. Other times it's the mountains which are calling your name. Or maybe a little beach time could be just the ticket. Decisions, decisions... it's a real conundrum. Here at Black Tomato we know where you're coming from. Why should you have to choose?

Well, you don't. At least not with this trip, which combines the best of what the bottom half of South America has to offer all rolled into one. You'll get the vibrant nightlife of Buenos Aires, some nature time and active mountain climbing in Chile and good solid beach time in Uruguay to finish off the trip. This is the ideal way to make the most of South America and really maximise your long-haul trip.

We suggest heading over to Buenos Aires in November just as the polo season is kicking off. Superclubs like Cream set up residence the city's top notch nightlife cranks up the volume and picks up the pace. The chic Home Hotel in the heart of Buenos Aires' Palermo Viejo district is the perfect backdrop from which to take in the heaving party scene; on Fridays an in-house DJ warms up the party atmosphere before guests head out on the town.

When your party itch is fully scratched, head south to Chile and explore Patagonia's legendary Torres del Paine national park. If relaxation is what you're looking for (which we suspect might be the case after Buenos Aires) then you've come to the right place; this is one of the most beautiful, unspoiled and remote places on the planet. Up for a challenge? The park offers climbing to rival the toughest hikes in the Himalayas. But don't worry, taking in nature doesn?t mean roughing it. Now that would just be silly. Instead you'll stay at the Remota Hotel, an ultra-modern glass hotel tucked among the glories of the Patagonian landscape. Whether you want to scale peaks of up to 9,000ft or relax in an outdoor Jacuzzi, the choice is yours.

Last stop is the beach, for a final blow-out at Uruguay's hip Punta del Este. This is the playground for the international jet set and South America's Riviera. Here you'll stay at La Posta del Vinyet, a peaceful boutique hotel situated in the former fishing village José Ignacio only minutes away from the South Atlantic Ocean. With only 4 bedrooms, this exclusive beach retreat is the best place to enjoy all that Punta del Este has to offer, from the beautiful people to the vast expanses of golden sand. Watch the sunset from the ocean-facing terrace while enjoying some home-cooked food or take a dip in the raised pool while admiring the vistas of Laguna Jose Ignacio and distant surfers. When night falls, don your party duds and head out for some fantastic beach-style nightlife to put the icing on your cake of a holiday.
