Day 1:
Arrive at Santiago International Airport. A private transfer will take you to your hotel. After freshening up you will be collected from your hotel for a full day tour of Santiago. Return to your hotel for an evening at leisure.
Day 2:
With your previous day's tour having alerted you to the city's most famous sites you'll have a day free to further explore at your own pace. Santiago is regarded as one of the world's most scenic capitals, and a stroll through its innumerable side streets will give you ample opportunity to discover its unique fusion of indigenous and colonial architecture, as well as its many museums and galleries. Take time out to have dinner in one of the many restaurants and cafés that line its bustling boulevards, before exploring the capital's lively collection of bars and clubs.
Day 3:
After checking out of your hotel you have the option for further exploration in Santiago or you can visit the Viña Matetic vineyard in the San Antonio wine valley for the opportunity to enjoy Chilean wine. You will then be driven to Valparaiso, known as the "Venice of South America", where you will stay at the region's most beautiful boutique hotel, Casa Higueras.
Day 4:
Enjoy a tour of Valpariso before returning to your hotel, spend the evening at leisure experiencing local restaurants and bars.
Day 5:
Transfer to the airport for your two-hour-flight from Santiago to Calama. You will be met upon arrival and taken to The Explora Hotel de Larache. Take advantage of the hotel's luxury facilities and explore the region's unique landscape.
Days 6 - 9:
You will have a choice of daily excursions all led by local experts.
Day 10:
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Santiago, from where you will take your flight home.
