Our safari features two awe-inspiring sights that make this trip simply spectacular. The first being the iconic definition of the North pole - the largest land carnivore on earth, the polar bear. From a remote sub-arctic lodge base in the town of Churchill, you will venture out in the Tundra Lodge into the vast blinding white landscapes where you will position yourself in prime location to get as close as possible to these deceptively calm and cute creatures in their natural habitat.
You will witness these bears first-hand as they wait for the Hudson Bay to freeze so they can begin their annual big feed, an extraordinary and very emotive experience. Your guides will also be on hand to educate you and answer any questions you may have about the bears.
As night time falls, the celestial magic begins: lighting up the sky is a giant spectrum of colour, washing and bursting across the sky. Regarded as one of the most spectacular of the world's natural phenomena, Aurora Borealis otherwise known as the 'Northern Lights' is a sight to behold.
