Day 1:
Upon arrival at Jinghong transfer to Dai Garden Hotel for the night.
Day 2:
Travel to Xiding and visit the colourful Thursday market of the Aini people before driving to Manlai Aini Village, where your first trek begins. Traverse the mountain trail to Mengzhe Basin and the mountainous cane fields of local farmers at Banli before passing through the villages of Banma, QianLuang Liao and Bankan. Spend the night with a local family.
Day 3:
Trek for an hour through subtropical forests and ethnic villages and spend the night with a local family.
Day 4:
Start your trek from Banga and walk the forest trails en route to Noyan village. Pass through the tea plantations of villages in the Menghun river basin before transferring back to Jinghong and flying to Lijiang and checking into the Banyan Tree resort.
Day 5:
Spend the day as you wish, perhaps enjoying the fantastic facilities at the hotel.
Day 6:
Mingle with the locals on the bus to Qiaotao before a two-hour trek. Have some lunch at Naxi Guest before resuming the trek and spending the night at the Tea Horse Guesthouse.
Day 7:
Tackle the Tiger Leaping Gorge and spend the night in Tinas guesthouse.
Day 8:
Visit the White Water Terraces and Haba village. Transfer to Zhongdian in the afternoon and check into the Banyan Tree Ringha.
Day 9:
Undertake your last trek, to Tsalong Village and the Valley of Ringha.
Day 10:
Check out of the Banyan Tree and transfer to airport for flight to Kunming where you will connect for your flight home.
