Day 1:
Arrive in Mexico City and spend the night in the Condesa DF hotel.
Day 2:
Take a private transfer to the airport and fly to Oaxaca. You?ll be transferred directly to the Art Hotel Casa Oaxaca where you?ll have the day at leisure to explore the city.
Day 3:
Explore the mysterious Monte Alban ruins set on a scenic plateau above Oaxaca city. Return to Oaxaca for lunch before a private tour of the city?s many historic sights, museums and galleries.
Day 4:
Your guide will take you to view the ancient burial ground at Mitla, before taking you to the Sierra Norte Mountains. You can explore the area here before enjoying dinner with locals and learning more about their culture. Overnight in a comfortable, locally-owned cabin in Pueblos Mancomunados.
Day 5:
Hike the pristine forest and wildlands of the Pueblos region before returning to your cabins. Your expert guide will explain the unique environment and you?ll have the opportunity to meet local communities.
Day 6:
Today you?ll trek further through the area and visit villages in the cloud forests, stopping in Benito Juarez.
Day 7:
Choose from numerous guided tours to nearby sites of interest, such as the historic town of Zaachila, or catch up on last minute shopping. Spend your last night in Oaxaca exploring the city?s cafés, bars and clubs.
Day 8:
Travel from Oaxaca Airport to Puerto Escondido Airport, where you will be transferred to Villa Carrizalillo. Spend the remainder of your day at leisure.
Days 9 - 10:
Spend these days at leisure. Surf, snorkel, sunbathe or go sightseeing depending on your mood.
Day 11:
Take a private transfer to Puerto Escondido airport and begin your journey home.
