Day 1:
Arrive in Bogota and get transferred to your hotel for 3 nights.
Day 2-3:
Spend time exploring this historical city. An overnight excursion to Villa de Leyva or a half day tour on horse back to El Fossil and the Observatory can be organised.
Day 4:
Transfer to Bogata Airport and catch a flight to Armenia and transfer to Hacienda Bambusa, a traditional Finca, for your 2 night coffee plantation experience.
Day 5:
Explore the plantations and learn all about the coffee trade.
Day 6:
Catch your flight from Armenia to Santa Marta and transfer to Parque Nacional Tayrona for your two night stay in one of the Eco-habs.
Day 7:
Enjoy spending time in the park, swim in the crystal waters, ride horses on the beach and simply relax in the warm sun. (Please note that currents can be strong in the bay).
Day 8:
Transfer to Cartagena, Hotel Agua, for the final leg of your journey.
Day 9:
Explore the old walled city at leisure.
Day 10:
Take a day trip to one of the neighbouring islands and soak up the vibrant atmosphere or visit the mud volcanos. Enjoy your last night of fiestas.
Day 11:
Fly to Bogata and catch your flight back to the UK.
