  • Day 1:

    Catch flight to Quito.

  • Day 2:

    Arrive in Quito Airport and transfer to Hotel Vieja Cuba.

  • Day 3:

    After breakfast take a half-day city tour and visit the outstanding Otavalo market. Afterwards, you will meet at the hotel for dinner and a briefing before your impending adventure.

  • Day 4:

    Early morning flight to San Cristobal and transfer to the catamaran Nemo I. This afternoon you will visit Galapaquera ? a natural habitat for tortoises. Dinner will be served on board and by night the boat will sail 3 miles northeast to anchor at Isla Lobos.

  • Day 5:

    Swim with sea lions in aquamarine waters at Playa Ochoa. After a kayak lesson and lunch, paddle for 2-3 hours to Kicker Rock, a cone-shaped formation rising 500 feet from the water. Explore the caves surrounded by cavorting sea lions and blue-footed boobies. A sunset dinner will be served aboard.

  • Day 6:

    Enjoy a 2-hour hike to one of the Galapagos? most prolific wildlife habitats, Punta Suarez. After lunch, paddle for 2-3 hours to Gardner Bay, across idyllic islets and white beaches. You will see all kinds of wildlife including masked and blue-footed boobies, iguanas, mockingbirds, frigate birds, albatross and swim with the friendly fur seals.

  • Day 7:

    Explore Charles Island and ?Post Office Barrel? established by British whalers in 1793. Paddle and trek to Empress Viewpoint and visit a brackish lagoon, host to flamingos, turtle nesting areas and schools of manta rays off shore. After lunch, paddle to a fantastic snorkeling spot, The Devils Crown, in the center of an eroded volcano.

  • Day 8:

    This morning you will hike to Santa Fe, taking in scenic viewpoints. Lunch will be aboard the boat whilst sailing 2 hours to Pto. Ayora, home of the Darwin Research Station. See an array of sea tortoises and saddle-back tortoises.

  • Day 9:

    After breakfast, paddle to Buccaneer Bay stopping at different beaches with flamingos and turtle nests. Meet Nemo I for lunch, after which you will do a coastal walk, visiting blowholes and sighting iguanas.

  • Day 10:

    Spend the morning at leisure snorkeling and swimming with sea lions. Paddle 3-4 hours along the frozen lava flows of San Salvador?s coastline. Visit Isla Bartolome, famous for being the backdrop in ?Master and Commander? and rest on the white coral sand beach. Overnight boat ride to San Cristobal.

  • Day 11:

    Transfer back to Quito in the afternoon for dinner in a traditional restaurant.

  • Day 12:

    Transfer to Quito airport for flight home.
