Sports Time Experience
Italian Gp The Grand Prix at Monza is something to write home about. The passion of the Italian crowds, the glamour and history of Ferrari and the stellar social opportunities in Milan makes it one of the most eagerly anticipated weekends in the world.

Whilst Monaco may just steal the plaudits in the glamour stakes, there is something about the home of the 'cavallino rampante' and the ardent fervour of the attending crowds that produces a truly unique and thrilling atmosphere, unmatched by any other Grand Prix circuit. The 'Autodromo di Monza' was first built in 1922 making it one of the oldest tracks in Formula 1. According to insiders, it is also the ultimate circuit for speed lovers; the long straights give the pilots the freedom to race at especially high speeds. Overtaking is easy, but also very dangerous and the track can demand a lot from both the car and the driver. For those of you who relish chaos, spectacular crashes are also known to occur. This really is the race for real race fans!

Monza is just on the outskirts of the fashion capital, so we recommend staying in the heart of the city to lap up Milanese, metropolitan chic when not on the course. Spend two nights at the centrally located 4* StarHotel Andersen. Away from the fast pace of the race, it provides an oasis of luxury and refined simplicity. Everything is on hand to make your weekend getaway as seamless as possible: transfers provided to the circuit; grandstand seats for the qualifying round and the race itself; and recommendations for the city's hottest restaurants and nightlife spots, courtesy of our specialists on the ground.

With UK flights direct to Milan on Friday night and returns for Sunday evening, the Italian Grand Prix can be enjoyed without sacrificing your precious vacation days. Our only advice is to book early as this is one experience that will be quickly snatched up!
