Now most of us have been blessed by a priest or a rabbi at some point in our lives. But you really haven’t been blessed until you’ve been blessed by an elephant. Wake up early and you can catch the beautiful bathing ritual of Lakshmi, the main temple’s elephant. After a good wash, Lakshmi makes her way to the temple’s front and for a mere rupee placed carefully in her trunk she will anoint you. Trust us, it’s worth every paisa.
