Running off of the side of the mountain is the easy part when hang gliding in Rio de Janeiro. The hardest bit is managing to take in all the incredible sights below. You glide over mountains, forests and the Atlantic; if you’re lucky you may even catch a glimpse of the Christ the Redeemer statue before landing on the glistening beach below. Of course you don’t want it to end, but fortunately the flight, the views and your overly enthusiastic facial expressions are all captured on camera. Definitely our favourite way to take in Rio.
